5 Quirky Movies To Watch This Weekend

"Safety Not Guaranteed".  Stars Aubrey Plaza from Parks and Rec, Mark Duplass, and Jake Johnson.  They are magazine employees who go to interview someone looking for a partner to time travel with.  Gets 7 out of 10 on IMDB.

"Winter Passing".  Stars Ed Harris and Zooey Deschanel.  An actress is offered a lot of money from a publisher if she can help secure rights to her dad's love letters he sent to his dead wife.   6.4 out of 10 on IMDB.

"Ghost World". Stars Steve Buscemi and Scarlette Johansson.  Two devious friends answer a personal ad from a guy and agree to go out on a date with him.  Then, it gets a little complicated.  7.4 out of 10 on IMDB.

"(500) Days of Summer".  Stars Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.  If you like quirky rom-coms, than this is for you.  It's about a woman who doesn't believe true love exists, and the young man who falls for her. 7.7 out of 10 on IMDB.

"Francis Ha".  Stars Adam Driver.  A story that follows a New York woman (who doesn't really have an apartment), apprentices for a dance company (though she's not really a dancer), and throws herself headlong into her dreams, even as their possibility dwindles.  7.4 out of 10 on IMDB.
