It is almost time again for 96.9 Kiss Fm to team up with the Children’s Miracle Network for Radiothon and the Miracle Up Festival.  You can help save kids' lives and have a good time!

Every year Kiss FM dedicates the air waves to help raise money for the Children's Miracle Network.  CMN is a nationwide organization that helps families with sick or injured kids.  Every penny raised in the Panhandle stays in the Panhandle.

For those of you who don't really know what CMN does, let me give you a little insight.  If a child gets sick, whether it is life threatening or not, gets injured or has to visit the hospital for any reason and the family cannot pay, CMN will step in to help.  But it goes way beyond that.  If a family has to travel out of town for treatment, CMN will help with gas money, lodging and food.  The are just amazing.  No child gets turned away for any reason.

This year, Kiss FM and CMN will kick off their annual Radiothon on Thursday, April 26th.  Tommy the Hacker will once again sleep on a crane for the entire week to bring awareness.  This year's the crane will be at the United Supermarket on 45th and Bell.  All week long we will bring you stories of amazing families and their awesome kids who have been helped by CMN.

Then on Friday, April 29th we will wrap up the event with the Miracle Up Festival.  It will once again be held in the parking lot of the Don Harrington Discovery Center. There will be food, fun, the Discovery Center, Live Music on our Crush Stage with Matt Martindale and Velvet Funk, and of course we will Light the Sky again.  If you missed it last year, then you must make plans to attend.

It will only cost $10 for Adults $5 for Children 5 and under Free.  And of course, all the money will stay here in the Panhandle to help local families.
