Grammy's Petting Farm Opening In Amarillo For One Day

There is nothing more exciting that going to a petting zoo. And tomorrow you'll get the chance to take the kiddos to a petting zoo here in Amarillo.

I can remember the first time I took my baby to a petting zoo. There were so many mixed emotions. The excitement, the happiness and the yuck when the animals licked his hand for the first time. But overall, the experience was unforgettable.

Tomorrow Grammy's Petting Farm will be open for a short time. From 9 am to 11 am you will get to enjoy some fun with the animals. There will be baby lambs and a new peacock enclosure just to name a few. Pony rides will also be offered

Admission is $3 for everyone over one year of age and pony rides will be an additional $2. The petting farm can be found at 12101 Bell Street.

You are also invited to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy. And if you would like to feed the animals, fresh vegetables and bread will be acceptable.
