As if we needed additional proof John Boyega — the actor behind one of Star Wars' newest heroes — belonged among the series' benevolent Jedi. On Friday (March 11), Boyega visited the Royal London Hospital in London to deliver movie-inspired toys to young fans of the series, according to People.

Dressed as his Star Wars character, Finn — a prodigal Stormtrooper-turned-good guy — Boyega executed his mission with one particular superfan by his side: a five-year-old named Daniel, whose wish it was to meet Finn. And though Daniel spent the day dressed as a soldier for the dark side, he and Boyega seemed to make a pretty solid team.

"This little stormtrooper Daniel had a wonderful wish after seeing the force awakens. Daniel thank you," Boyega tweeted with the composite image above, which features the duo dueling and checking in with other young patients. It's certainly a step up from feel-better balloons or lollipops.

And the visit proved to to work wonders for Daniel's spirit, according to a Facebook comment left by Daniel's mother, Rosalind, that People tracked down. "Thank you so so much Rays of Sunshine and John Boyega for granting Daniel's wish to meet Finn and take toys to the hospital," she wrote of her son, who has a brain tumor. "It was just amazing, I have no words! Daniel is still totally overwhelmed, I have never seen him so happy."

See the light and dark sides uniting above, and stay tuned for news about the coming Star Wars installment, which Boyega has said will be "darker."
