Now Those Were The Days

I never thought I would be talking like an old fart. But, those really were the days. When music rocked and bands actually seemed to play music. Don't get me wrong, I like to get down to some Drowning Pool and TOOL these days, but the good ol' fashioned depressing grunge just made my day. Maybe it was the Smashing Pumpkins concert I went to in the 90's that really struck a chord with me, but since then I have always thought these guys rocked. I generalize the 90's because like lot's of people in that time period, it seems to be a bit of a blur. Regardless, anytime I hear Today, Cherub Rock, Bullet with Butterfly Wings and countless others; I'm instantly transported back to that concert in Lubbock, Texas.
