Gotta catch even more!

It's official, Pokemon Go players: The Gen II roll out has begun. As of Monday, December 12, at least seven new Pokemon from Generation II (Pokemon Gold/Pokemon Silver) are available to obtain in-game by hatching eggs retrieved from PokeStops.

Pichu, Cleffa, Igglybuff, Togepi, Elekid, Magby and Smoochum are the Pokemon species currently known to be available within Niantic's latest update, according to Mashable. Most of the new available Pokemon are "baby versions" of a handful of Pokemon from Generation I—Pikachu Clefairy, Jiggypuff, Electabuzz, Magmar and Jynx—except for Togepi, which is the base devolution of Togetic.

Aside from the brand new Pokemon, the latest game update also includes a special edition, limited time only Pikachu wearing a Santa Claus hat, just in time for the holidays. Santa Pikachu will reportedly be available to catch through December 29.

Both updates come just weeks after Ditto, the elusive shape-shifting Pokemon, was made available to catch back in November.
