A small plane had to make an emergency crash landing in a field off 6th Avenue and Tradewind Blvd on Thursday around 3 p.m. According to the Randall Country Sheriff's Office, there were three people on board the small aircraft, which was a Piper PA-28-140. None of the passengers were injured in the crash.

Witnesses near the scene said there was damage to one of the wings of the aircraft but the overall landing seemed to be skilled.
