Law enforcement has taken into custody Ahmad Khan Rahami, the man wanted in connection to the weekend bombings in New York City and Seaside Park, New Jersey.

Authorities continue to investigate a pair of explosions in New York City and New Jersey that appear to be unrelated.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev spoke in court Wednesday for the first time about the 2013 bombing at the Boston Marathon. “I would like to apologize to the victims and the survivors,” he said. “I did do it.”

Dhokhar Tsarnaev was found guilty of all serious charges against him.

A massive manhunt that spanned several Boston communities has come to an end with Boston police announcing that 19-year-old Dzokhar Tsarnaev, the second suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing, has been captured.

The second suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing has been captured. Dzokhar Tsarnaev was taken into police custody Friday night -- five days after the bombing that left three dead and left more than 100 injured, police said. The 19-year-old was apprehended after a manhunt that began Thursday night with the fatal shooting of an MIT officer and extended into the evening hours on Friday.

9 p.m. (EST): The final press conference of the day with Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis and various other officials just concluded.
