In the bizarre world of David Lee Roth, apparently there’s nothing wrong with trashing hotel rooms — or trashing Sammy Hagar in print prior to their joint 2002 tour.

But throwing trash onstage during a Van Halen show? That’s a no-no in the eyes of singer Diamond Dave, who recently singled out a fan for tossing rubbish in Roth’s direction at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg.

Van Halen was playing its cover of the Roy Orbison classic ‘Oh, Pretty Woman’ and just about to wrap up the song’s bridge when an undetermined object that was launched from within the first few rows landed near Roth’s feet.

Roth quickly quieted the rest of the group by saying, “Wait a second, wait a second,” then addressed the offending party: “Don’t throw your garbage up onstage. Throw you girlfriend, a-hole.” The crowd cheered with approval just as guitarist Eddie Van Halen gently kicked the item toward the front of the stage.

Hmm, maybe this song is giving off bad vibes or something on this tour. On March 13 in New Hampshire, Van Halen was less than a minute into ‘Oh, Pretty Woman’ when Roth stopped the band so he could curse out fans for fighting.

There aren’t a lot of red-haired players in the NBA. That’s one of the reasons Patrick Gonzalez, who has red hair, is a fan of Matt Bonner, a ginger-headed back-up center for his hometown San Antonio Spurs.

So to pay homage to the sharp-shooting bigman, Gonzalez had a rather accurate image of his favorite player shaved into the back of his head.

Since hair is apparently a touchy subject at Woodlake Hills Middle School, his mom Rose Gonzalez actually went to the school to clear the Bonner-cut with the administration before Patrick showed up for class.

But despite this meeting, Patrick was told that he would have to get rid of his unique hair style or face suspension. According to school official Aubrey Chancellor, Rose Gonzalez may have met with the front office about her son’s hair, but permission was never actually granted.

So now it looks like Patrick will have to get rid of his tribute, which has been deemed a “distraction.” He says that he is “mad,” but will comply with the decision.

If anything good were to come out of this misunderstanding, it would be that it might draw more attention to Bonner, who last year posted a couple pretty clever parodies of basketball instructional videos on YouTube. Check them out below.

Managers like Earl Weaver, Lou Piniella, Ozzie Guillen, and Bobby Cox made names for themselves as fierce opponents of some calls, making for some humorously and memorable moments as they totally lost their cool on the diamond. On other occasions, players have been known to stand up for themselves and challenge umpires for what they perceived as blown calls. The Blue Jays’ Brett Lawrie is just the latest to join the fray. Here’s a look back at some of our favorite player vs. umpire meltdowns:

After thinking he walked, Lawrie was summoned back to home plate by umpire Bill Miller during a game against the Rays on Tuesday night, and he went absolutely bananas. Lawrie threw down his helmet in disgust, which landed at an angle, causing it to immediately bounce back up into Miller. It earned Lawrie a four-game suspension. Miller’s abuse didn’t end there, though. A fan hurled a beer at him as he headed off the field.

GEORGE BRETT

The infamous “pine tar” incident further propelled Brett to stardom in 1983 when the Yankees challenged Brett’s bat he used to hit a home run against them. After the umpires reviewed the bat, they concluded that Brett had violated a league rule and applied too much of the substance to his bat. Brett, perhaps reasonably, charged out of the dugout after he was ruled out. The league eventually decided that Brett shouldn’t have been tossed, and the Royals finally got the win 25 days afterward.

DELMON YOUNG

A couple weeks ago, Young’s temper got the best of him when he went on a drunken anti-Semitic tirade in New York City which earned him some time off. Unfortunately, this wasn’t Young’s first example of bad behavior. Or should we say bat behavior. When Young was a minor leaguer in 2006, he got so inflamed after a called third strike that he tossed his bat toward home plate. It struck the umpire, too, who immediately threw young out of the game. It got him a 50-game suspension.

Rauch got so mad after a call at home during a 2011 game that he lost his shirt. Seriously. Rauch’s six-foot-10 frame left him a candidate for one of the most awkward standoffs with an umpire, and it took several of his teammates to drag him away toward the dugout. With the level of vitriol Rauch was exhibiting that afternoon, the ump and fans might have gotten off easy that Rauch walked away when he did.

RYAN HOWARD

During the 14th inning of a 2010 game, Howard was thrown out after protesting a close check swing call. It caused him to confront third base umpire Scott Barry all the way up the line. Imagine having the six-five, 250-pound slugger coming after you with full force. Phillies players and another umpire were able to restrain Howard long enough to keep him from manhandling Barry, and eventually Howard was led off the field.

ROBERTO ALOMAR

We may never know what it was that umpire John Hirschbeck said to Alomar during a 1996 game that prompted the second baseman to spit at Hirschbeck. It’s one of baseball’s sorrier moments, but also one that Alomar moved on from shortly afterward. Alomar was suspended five games. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2011, showing that even for the league bygones were better left bygones.

Harper was ejected from the Junior College World Series in 2010 after a questionable third strike call. As Harper stepped out of the batters’ box and headed back toward his dugout, he drew a line in the sand that flicked dirt up at the ump. He was promptly tossed from the game, his last before declaring for the majors. It’s forgivable, though. Harper was just 17 at the time of the incident.

CARLOS BELTRAN

Sometimes the officiating can get so bad that a player winds up getting support from his manager. During a 2008 game. Beltran and teammate Carlos Delgado were so outraged by a strike call that manager Jerry Manuel joined in on the rage. Beltran wound up getting tossed, and the Mets needed just about everyone they have available in the dugout to come and control the situation.

Usually when a person is graduating from college, she’s thinking about what kind of job she’ll get after school. This woman gets a surprise offer during graduation and suddenly has a different job to think about — the new and unexpected job of planning her wedding.

Graduation is definitely time for thinking about the future. Clearly, no one knows this better than the boyfriend of Sarah Cooper, a very recent graduate of American University’s School of Public Affairs. Sam Miller decided that Cooper’s walk across the stage as she gets her diploma was the perfect time to pop the question.

It didn’t take long for everyone in the auditorium to understand exactly what was going on, despite the fact that they probably couldn’t hear it.

Cooper and Miller now have way more to celebrate than her accomplishments at university. They also have way more to prepare for than a post-college job hunt. Double congrats, Sarah!

We’ve watched the guys at Epic Meal Time make massive desserts. We’ve watched them make massive St. Patrick’s Day treats. And we’ve watched them make massive, yet amusing, fools out of themselves. Today, we watch them make the most massive bacon burger ever created by man. And we love them for it.

Because we weren’t at our computers playing ‘Diablo 3’ we decided to watch what Epic Meal Time had in store for us in this episode. What they had was a colossal sandwich with 500 (yes, two zeros after that 5) strips of bacon and likely more than 109,000 calories. We are just a little bit disappointed in ourselves to admit that it actually looks really freakin’ good. Of course, watching Muscles Glasses devour it sort of takes away from its original appeal, but still, we would have liked just one bite.

The good news for the EMT guys? We’re guessing they will be hired to cater the upcoming Susanne Eman wedding.

When you hear the phrase ‘all you can eat’, what comes to mind? Probably a place where you can go and eat as much as you want. Right? Not so in this case.

Bill Wisth is protesting a restaurant in Wisconsin called Chuck’s Place because he says that he was turned away from the restaurant after ordering the all-you-can-eat.

“It’s false advertising,” Wisth told TMJ4. “We asked for more fish, and they refused to give us more fish.”

He was then given 8 pieces of fish to-go, but that wasn’t quite enough to calm the the patron. Bill has been picketing the restaurant for the last two days. Click here to read more on this

Now, to bring this home. Have you ever been told by an all-you-can-eat place that they could not serve you anymore? This has nothing to do with a person’s size, just appetite.

I bring this up because a few years ago, Red Lobster was having all-you-can-eat snow crab legs. And I just happened to love crab legs. My friend and I went in and ate more crab that any human probably should, to the point that the manager came over and asked us to “Finish Up”.

We laughed our way out the door and headed to the house. Shortly after they stopped the all-you-can-eat crab legs promotion and I have not seen it since. I’m not saying it was because of us, but we didn’t help the cause.

But I never thought of it like this. Should they have been able to tell us to leave? You tell us. Take the poll below and let us know what you think.

The point of the ad isn’t necessarily that you shouldn’t trade in games at GameStop, but that you shouldn’t buy games at all. Instead, you should rent as many as you can handle for a flat monthly fee. And, judging from the commercial, you should also knock down store shelves at random.

GameStop, though, might argue that renting doesn’t always make sense. If you’re playing something that can last for a long time, such as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, or with a strong multiplayer component, like Madden or Call of Duty, you’ll tie up your queue for months by renting those games rather than buying them.

In the frantic world of financial news reporting, it’s best to be ready for whatever comes your way. Be it a market crash, or a news camera in your face when you least expect it. Because that’s what happened to Bloomberg’s Sara Eisen who was caught on camera fixing her skirt during a pan through the newsroom. 

The video starts with a news presenter cutting to the markets’ desk where analyst Sheila Dharmarajan is barely audible due to some technical issues. So to save (her) face, the camera moves to Eisen, who unfortunately was caught off guard in a far more embarrassing situation.

Many on the internet are now speculating why a professional like Eisen was caught off guard. Whatever the reason, Eisen at least knew what to say to keep the show going. Still, that’s another reporter blunder for our “news bloopers” collection.

For Tom Wilson – aka Biff Tannen – it drove him to create an all-encompassing card that he can hand to fans when the questions come flying his way quicker than a DeLorean.

The smartest thing about the new preview for ‘The Amazing Spider-Man‘ is that it doesn’t show too much of Andrew Garfield’s Peter Parker becoming Spider-Man. What it does offer is footage of Spidey acting heroic, saving children and fighting Rhys Ifans’s Curt Connor/The Lizard. It shows a size and scale that makes it look like a new take on the material, and makes us cautiously optimistic. Check it out…

It also looks like Garfield takes the mask off a lot in the film, which is smart as Sam Raimi’s first ‘Spider-Man’ had a wonky moment when two masked actors had a conversation and it looked like everything was recorded on a looping stage. They’ve at least learned from the earlier films.

For this thing to work – as a recent reboot – audiences need to know that they’re not being told the same story again, and this smartly plays up the ways Marc Webb’s film is different from Raimi’s Spider-trilogy. The film is a studio patient zero for reboots, and how audiences accept or reject it will change the way studios go about renewing their superheroes.

This is also the best trailer that they’ve put out, and that’s good as the film’s July 3 release date isn’t that far away. We know we’ll see it anyway, but we hope for the best.

Brave Robot is the creation of Japanese designer Kenji Ishida. Kenji, who is working with a company named JS Robotics, looks to be on the verge of something really cool. The robot is remote controlled and can change into a car and back again into a robot with just the touch of a button.

This “toy” is no joke. It changes all by itself and does not need any help from us earthlings. This is the eighth version of the robot and it looks as though JS Robotics is now working on version nine.

But maybe we’re selling the actual game play a bit short. It turns out it can get pretty intense, amongst all the legs and the boobs. In fact, during the LFL’s recent All-Star game, the two opposing coaches starting fighting right in the middle of the field.

This video is NSFW. While that designation suggests spectacular uniform malfunctions amid an orgy of all-out violence, it’s actually because one of the coaches likes to yell profanity in a surprisingly high-pitched voice. So sorry about that.

Bonus points for anybody who can figure out what in the world the fight was about.

Two years ago, Poison frontman Bret Michaels suffered a life-threatening brain hemorrhage, and he credits the Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Ariz. for delivering him from death’s doorstep.

Since then, he’s donated a music room to the institute, and now he’s also helping celebrate the hospital’s 50th anniversary.

A video Michaels did for the occasion is part of “The 50 Years, 50 Faces Project,” which features clips of Barrow patients and staff recounting stories of the hospital’s impact on them. In Bret’s video, he sends his utmost thanks to “my good friends [at Barrow] for saving my life.”

It’s not surprising he’d lend his voice to the project — Michaels has often publicly expressed his gratitude to Barrow, and last fall he even donated a music room (dubbed the Bret Michaels Hospitality and Music Room) that has listening stations, relaxation areas, video monitors, comfortable sofas and a refreshment area for patients’ families.

“If they’re here all night, searching their soul, a lot of people that are going through a very devastating time in their life,” he said at the time. “I want to give something back to the hospital that helped save my life.”

Michaels has done other work for Barrows as well. Last spring he performed at the Celebrity Fight Night in Phoenix and auctioned off a dinner for 10 people at his home, with the proceeds going toward the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center, which is also located at the neurological institute.

When he isn’t paying it forward, Bret is working on his new solo album, ‘Get Your Rock On,’ and of course prepping with his Poison bandmates for their upcoming summer tour with Def Leppard.

There have only been 15 unassisted triple plays in Major League history. This makes the instant inning killer the rarest play in all of baseball.

Although they don’t keep track of such things, it stands to reason there have been more unassisted triple plays than that on the Little League level — just given the sheer number of games played.

Nevertheless, you could watch a lot of Little League and never see a triple play, let alone an unassisted one. But we’re showing you one right here.

That heads-up shortstop is six-year-old Ross Bernath of Sandy Springs, GA. The recording was actually shot by the father of opposing player “James,” who couldn’t make it back to third base in time to prevent the rare play.

The clip went viral pretty quickly and was featured as ESPN SportsCenter’s number one play of the day on Wednesday. This thrilled little Ross, who watches SportsCenter regularly.

“He saw it this morning on ESPN and he’s been smiling ear to ear,” Ross’ dad told the Atlanta Journal Constitution. “He’s pretty pumped.”

Moms do a lot for us. Even after we are no longer their responsibility, they are still doing things for us that we take for granted. We should be celebrating these great ladies every single day of the year, not just on Mother’s Day.

Mother’s Day is the time for pretending that preparing breakfast for mom while making a huge mess in the kitchen is a good idea. It’s a time for gluing colored pasta onto construction paper and calling it a gift. And, apparently, it’s a time for making big announcements and surprising moms to the point of dazed speechlessness.

All of this excitement can really upset Mom and maybe send her over the edge. This little girl only had her mom’s best interests at heart when she warned her about the surprise she would receive on Mother’s Day, so that the shock would not be too much for her.

Moms love it when you give them gifts from your heart. Even if your heart is full of snarky comments and jabs at her ability to create interesting dinner menus. Kyle wrote a song for his mother, which she seems to enjoy despite the fun it pokes at her. He makes up for it in the end and his mom ends up with a unique Mother’s Day gift she can always cherish.

If rap is more your style, that works too. These little girls have a rap for their mom every year, and we’re guessing she loves every one. Last month, news broke that the producers behind The Three Stooges porn parody were being sued for copyright infringement despite clearly stating in the title, “Not The Three Stooges XXX”. We’re surprised this sort of legal trouble doesn’t happen every month considering how many creative liberties adult film studios take using trademarked materials. Where does one draw the line?

The Avengers broke some major box office records – and it appears so will its porn parody treatment – The Avengers XXX. That movie’s distributor, Vivid Entertainment, has capitalized on the recent superhero boom by creating an entire production arm dedicated to cranking out superhero porn parodies after it saw Batman A XXX Parody post superb numbers.

Superheroes and sex make sense but the following ten porn parodies have us scratching our heads… no, not those heads.

Golden Girls: A XXX MILF Parody

At least, until we’ve gone completely off the desensitization deep end.

Anchorman: A XXX Parody

Our Thoughts: The summer 2004 release continues to be one of the most quoted movies of all-time, but if there’s one thing pornos can’t do, it’s comedy. Sure, we can all appreciate some of the clever titles, the play on words, the double entendres, but unless Will Ferrell and Adam McKay are writing the script for this, it will only serve to spoil your super duper neato, gang memories. We hear ya, porn’s cheesy and so was ‘Anchorman’, so it seems like a match made in San Diego, but we prefer Ron’s boner to be an optical illusion caused by pleats.

This Ain’t ESPN XXX

Cast: Alanah Rae, Asphyxia Nior, Britney Amber, Brooklyn Lee, Liv Aguilera, McKenzie Lee, Tracey Sweet

Synopsis: ‘Mixing sports and hot slutty female sports reporters getting nailed by “gifted” athletes is about as good as it gets.’

Our Thoughts: No arguments here. Perfectly rational. Unlike ‘Anchorman’, we’ve all had those debates about which one of the female reporters are the easiest and whether or not they hook up with the athletes they interview. Remember when Erin Andrews’ peephole video leaked online in July 2009. The internet almost broke from men trying to watch it. Since then we’ve heard some sordid stories from behind-the-scenes at the sports entertainment behemoth and we’re hoping it’ll get the big screen adaptation it deserves. In the meantime, maybe they’d take a cue or two from this gem.

Our Thoughts: This Ain’t ESPN for politicos (even though this came first, pun intended). Of course, there are many more publicized sex scandals coming out of politics than sports broadcasting and FOX News is the perfect target since it’s positioned itself as the most conservative net on the boob tube AND the channel with the hottest female talent. We’re sure a couple talking heads over there have this on Blu-ray. We even think they might put some of these ‘stars’ to shame.

We know Clark was a man full of fantasies and an overactive imagination, and crazy Eddy’s down for whatever, but for some reason we can’t shake the images of Rusty and Audrey as kids and not as the adults they so badly wanted to be.

Here is a video that makes me shutter to watch. A Russian man gets hit along side a broken down car on the express way. Since its release there have been quite a few skeptics saying that it is fake. You tell us.

The video clearly shows a car broken down in the middle of the highway. Then as the cars approach you can see one guy seemingly hop into the trunk while the other steps into the path of an oncoming car.

The person who posted the video has said that the guy who was hit suffered a broken leg, but people who have reviewed the video are crying foul. They say that a person hit at that speed causing a body to react that way would have caused much more damage.

So here’s where we enlist you, the KISS listener. What do you think. Watch the video close and tell us. Is it real or fake?

RYNO Motors has designed a self-balancing, one-wheel, electric scooter that looks like it crawled right off the cutting room floor of the a Blade Runner movie. This twisted little spectacle is one part transportation genius, and another part circus sideshow. Watch this video and you’ll see the only thing missing is a dancing bear. Harrison Ford is also missing, which is surprising, because he’ll star in just about anything these day.

Scheduled to begin production in January 2013, RYNO Motors believes that this one-wheeled beast is poised to create real fundamental change once it hits the streets. However, at this time we are still uncertain. It definitely looks dangerous but it doesn’t appear to have enough “die with your boots on” appeal to risk both life and limb on a single wheel.

That said, the monkeys at the circus are going to look pretty badass revving around on these micro-cycles.

Coleman Shannon was born without a right hand and forearm, due to a medical condition called Amelia, but that hasn’t slowed him down from chasing his baseball dreams. In fact, the 14-year-old left-handed pitcher recently threw a no-hitter in a Johnsonville, SC little league game.

Don’t believe us? Watch the footage for yourself.

“The other night, when he pitched the no-hitter, that was a tearful moment,” Kyle Daniel, one of Shannon’s proud coaches, said. “When you think about what he’s been through and how much it’s taken him just to get to this point, when he went out and threw the no-hitter, it was just a cheerful time for everyone.”

Shannon does way more than pitch and field — he’s an accomplished hitter who went 2-for-2 and delivered the game-winning hit in another little league matchup last week.

Oh, and did we mention he also knows how to play the guitar and hunt? When he was 2, he rejected his prosthetic arm and has since proved he never needed it to begin with.
